Our Job Is Not Finished

Dear fellow American:

First, I want to thank you and the over 40,000 Americans that rallied to our cause and donated to us over the past two weeks.

As you have probably seen, our TV ads blanketed the airwaves. We made our best effort to fight for our country and stop Barack Obama from implementing a radical liberal agenda.

Whatever the outcome of the election, we at The National Republican Trust (GOPtrust.com) know that had we been fully funded even a month ago, the election would never have been in doubt.

During this election, we witnessed the stealing of the American presidency. More than $600 million flowed into the Democratic candidate’s campaign. Nearly half of this amount was from donors that have still not been disclosed. Of the known donors, up to $60 million came from foreign sources and were likely illegal.

Add to this the tireless effort made by the major media to support Barack Obama — and slam McCain-Palin. The media went into overdrive to smear and destroy Sarah Palin. All of their claims of “objectivity” went out the window in their effort to elect Barack Obama.

We can never let this happen again. We must organize and prepare.

What we proved here at The National Republican Trust is that we can organize, fundraise, and implement a strategy quickly and effectively.

Dick Morris calls us the “most important group now in the Republican Party, our version of Moveon.org but more effective.”

We must start rebuilding the Republican Party today.

We are committed to keeping the GOP the party of Ronald Reagan and the party of protecting our free enterprise system, reducing government and taxes, keeping our national defense strong, and keeping America on the foundations of faith and family that have made us the greatest nation that ever existed.

In our effort to defeat Barack Obama, we spent most of our budget on informing the American public.

Now we must continue the struggle.
